The Deuce is gone!!!

posted in: dave's '36 ford five window garage, news on February 20, 2012 at 03:00 PM

Well….my garage is empty once again. After a short season taking the hot rod to a few events an offer came along I couldn’t refuse. Now with the 2012 season ahead of me, I find myself looking for another street rod to take it’s place. If anyone knows of an all steel, nice, well built ‘32, ‘33, ‘34 Ford five window coupe that is available let me know. I may even consider a pro-touring tri five if it meets certain standards. I’m looking for a high quality car that is well built with the right stance and is reasonably priced.

Thnaks man I appreciate it. I’m gonna miss it. The individual who bought it had a collection of six deuces in his garage, one with a flathead Art Christman engine in it. How you doin’ on yours?

I sold my 3 window in 1955 and it still hurts. One of the worst days of my life was when I backed into something and crunched the rear fender. After selling the 32 I went on and built a 50 Olds street racer that almost got me killed. Wish I still had the 32. Some day I will get another one.

Looks like recovered pretty well with the ‘54. Great looking car, perfect stance, killer interior all makes for a perfect package. I lived in fear of crunching my ‘32 as well, it must come with the territory. Take care…..Dave
