I bought this car cheap because it doesn’t run,even though the engine was just rebuilt.It has high miles, so the seals were leaking,being a used car salesman,he didn’t think he’d sell it with the oil leak.So he commisioned someone to pull the engine, replace the seals and put it back in.Oops, now it has an engine noise,sound like top end.All new rockers…. now it sounds like bottom end,-pull the engine again,no more screwing around now – send the engine out for complete rebuild, rebore, new pistons,gaskets etc…put engine back in. Uh-oh,won’t start,dealer has had enough,and gives up -unloads it to me… cheap!

I saw a magazine article on a V8 Focus, years ago and never forgot it. Then I saw a You-tube video more recently.If you haven’t seen some of these machines check them out by searching ‘V8 FOCUS’ So thats the plan, RWD conversion and likely the 5.0, but I won’t rule out a 4.6
